Robyn and Peter designed a sophisticated winter Newport RI wedding at Belle Mer. We’d expect nothing less from the VERY fashionable Robyn who dazzled us from day one with her good taste. Her discernment extends past her wardrobe and into her choice of husbands. Peter is charming and handsome (and fashionable too thanks to Robyn), but he always has a look on his face like he is up to something. Because he is. Mostly he is “up to” keeping Robin on her lovely toes and making her laugh, which she does heartily and often. Case in point, Peter surprised Robin with an 80’s video montage during their first dance. Still can’t get that Karate Kid Part 2 song unstuck from my brain, thanks Peter. We loved everything about Robyn and Peter’s wedding; her unexpected grey Vera Wang gown and amazing jewelery, the lush flowers, neutral palette, their awesome parents, the eclectic getting ready location The Attwater Hotel, mixed but matched bridesmaids dresses, and yes even the groomsmen grew on us. But, what we loved most of all was working with Peter and Robyn who were trusting, energetic, and down to earth from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. It’s easy to see why they have so many friends and why they are so loved. Thank you for sharing your day with us Robyn and Peter!

Some Vendor Love…

A big thank you to our vendor friends who helped Robyn and Peter pull off such a beautiful day. First of all, Green Lion Weddings for their breathtaking floral design. A thank you must also be given to Belle Mer, not only is it an impressive venue, but the ladies (hey Samantha) make it run so smoothly and the food is superb. A shout out to Victor of Victor Events for providing the music and aiding Peter in his 80’s surprise. Our talented friends at New Leaf Studio glamorized the already naturally glamorous Robyn and her pretty bridesmaids.

No post would be complete without a little “Behind the Snaps” peek. On the left we have Trish and Liz at the Attwater, photographing Robyn’s to-die-for Badgley Mischka’s. On the right, Mariah rocking the long lens at St. Spyridon with Trish supervising, of course. An aside, we LOVE Greek orthodox churches they are so beautifully ornate!
