We are absolutely smitten with Michelle and Devon’s Providence Public Library Wedding. The library is the perfect venue for a city-chic winter wedding. It’s so stunning inside the library that it doesn’t really matter what is happening outside. The photos will be spectacular no matter the weather! Lucky for us, we were blessed with amazing late afternoon  GOLDEN light, the kind that makes veils and the Snap Girls light up! For sure, we get very excited about late afternoon light! It’s dreamy.

Michelle is as clever as she is gorgeous so of course she planned for a first look so that she and Devon could have some portraits outdoors with the beautiful natural light.

We started our day at the Providence Biltmore for getting ready photos and the first look. The amazing floor to ceiling windows on the second floor of The Biltmore created a lovely spot for Devon to see his bride and for us to take some portraits of them.  After a bit of snapping inside the Biltmore we ventured out… it was a little chilly, but Michelle’s vintage shrug and handsome husband-to-be Devon kept her nice and toasty.

Then it was over to the Library for some family formals and the intimate ceremony. We couldn’t resist a few more photos after the ceremony because of course now Michelle and Devon were actually married! D + M enjoyed the rest of their evening toasting and dancing and canoodling. It was the perfect evening, a Providence Public Library Wedding never disappoints!

You can NEVER have enough sparkle. Here we have M + D’s wedding rings perched on M’s clutch with her sparkly shoes as our background.The cutest {and bounciest} friends ever! You can tell a lot about a person by their friends, these girls are keepers!Michelle gets some helping hands from Devon’s sister and her MOH. Sassafrass Salon did the ladies hair and makeup which was stunning!Tulle straightening!Meanwhile the men are bow tying…Devon was so patient and HANDSOME waiting for Michelle.Such a pretty profile. Michelle’s hair was vintage glamor, styling by Sassafrass.The first look on the second floor of the Biltmore. Beautiful windows and a spectacular chandelier were the perfect frame for M + D’s romantic meeting.Perfect light from the windows made for a Lovey-Dovey portrait.

This one is my favorite… the Framer!We stepped just outside the Biltmore to the street corner for a little city and sun-flare.The sun cooperated just long enough for us to make some pretty portraits. There’s the sun-in-the-veil phenomenon that we love so much. Hard to believe this is January!

Robin Hollow Farm created Michelle’s lovely bouquet. Isn’t it nice to love a man who sweeps you off your feet?!First dance romance.The toasts. The Ship Room at the library is so cool, I love the retro feel of this photo. 1950 or 2015? Russell Morin Catering and Events does an amazing job and is the onsite caterer.

Sweet Sentiments.And Sweet Treats.Dancing the night away, and sneaking out for a little breath of fresh air and a last photo before the night is over. Being Wedding Photographers in RI certainly affords us amazing locations for photographs and venues. Finding clients as sweet as Devon + Michelle is the icing on the cake. They are so in love and natural with each other, it’s an honor to document the beginning of their beautiful life together!
